Happiest Valentine's Day or whatever you are celebrating or not celebrating today. No pressure.
I want to take this day to connect with you, send you love just as usual, and also mention something which we seem to forget so often. 

In a couple of last posts, I started mentioning rhetorics and language - something that is so important that we don't even think about it as much as we should nowadays. 

Especially this week, during the second impeachment trial of former president Donald Trump, we could all see and hear how much our language is changing, how we abuse it, and what power a word can have when used by a wrong person. 

Words, poetry, stories - everything got power. We love to spread messages, spreading awareness, inspire and motivate people - it happens all over mouth to ear action!


I am a nerd and I love to study. I often wonder if my rhetorics are right and I always want to work on the way I express myself, since my language is often too mixed with emotions and intuition. 

And what about today? Today is Valentine's Day. Ugh. This day is decorated with the most beautiful adjectives, cheesy words, and romantic flowers of speech to connect or just cherish one another. Okay. That's cool - but not everybody is into that. 

What I love to focus on, on Valentine's Day, is MYSELF. Because I love myself. 

Today is all about me and my favorite things. I am pampering myself, I am reading, I am making myself a delicious dinner, and I just want to focus on things that make me happy. 

I turn on my Sonos and I might dance a little while cheering myself.

Today is all about self-love - there is no room for negative energy or negative words which would bring me down or even make me sad. What for?

There's a lot to be happy about today and that's why I want to talk to you, inspire you, and hug you: 

we don't need to use so many words which have negative meaning towards ourselves. I want us to work on our vocabulary and the words we choose to use. 

It's time that when it comes to us, we open our dictionaries and only choose positive words to describe ourselves! Because we deserve it.

Let's work on our self-love language ~

I am smart
I belong here
I accept myself
I am confident
I am worthy of a great life
I am worthy of love
I am great
I am living to my fullest potential
I am full of gratitude
I am a positive light
I am kind
I love myself.
I am doing my best

Today is going to be a great day
I am talented and intelligent
I am one of a kind
I can and I will
I am proud of myself and my achievements
I am who I want to be
I will not worry about things I cannot control
I will take time to love and care for myself
I am free of worry and regret
I am grateful for all that I have
I am full of potential
I am healthy
I welcome happiness into my life
All I need is within me
I am ambitious
I am connected to my mind and thoughts
I will appreciate the small things and cherish them 
I will take breaks for me and my body to recharge 
I love taking good care of me
I surround myself with people who support and love me
I am prepared to take advantage of the great opportunities presented to me
I will never give up on my goals and dreams
I am a positive person who attracts positive situations for success
I am wise and humble
I am truly a beautiful soul
I am respectful and completely self-aware
I am more loving and more forgiving every day

You don't need to tell yourself all of this every day, but knowing that this vocabulary is deep inside of us will definitely make our daily much more beautiful. Because words matter - remember this. 

Words can hurt us and it's our duty to not be one of the people who love to drag us. It's our responsibility to create the energy of the day. We decide on how we feel and what's our mood of the day. Being mean and negative about yourself is a waste of time and not healthy for your mental health! 

I know this is easier said than done, but having this vocabulary deep inside of us is a big game changer! There will be times where we are not performing well and we might feel terrible with a lot of blame, hate, and guilt - this happens often, but here it is important to change the perspective and think about our self-love language!
In times where we need support and strength. we are the ones who can make a bad situation into a more pleasant one. 

Don't be too harsh on yourself and finally connect with your mind, body & soul.
